AP Score Calculator Hub

Estimate AP exam scores from section-level performance. Start with the APUSH Score Calculator 2026, then use the hub for AP Statistics and AP Government score estimator pages.

About AP Score Calculator

AP Score Calculator provides free, unofficial tools to help you estimate your AP exam scores before results are released. Enter your section-level performance and our calculators use approximate score conversion models to estimate your 1-5 AP score range.

These calculators are designed to help you identify areas for improvement and set study goals. They are not affiliated with the College Board and should be used for estimation purposes only because AP score conversions can vary by year and exam form.

Choose the Right AP Score Calculator

Each AP calculator on this hub uses the section structure for that specific exam instead of a one-size-fits-all formula. Start by opening the calculator for your subject, then enter the section scores from a practice test, released-response practice, or your own score estimate.

How the AP Score Estimators Work

The calculators convert your raw section performance into an estimated composite score out of 100, then compare that composite against an approximate 1-5 score range. The result panel also shows how much each section contributes and how many more composite points you may need to reach the next estimated score level.

For example, if your APUSH practice score is close to the estimated 4 range, the tool can show whether improving MCQ accuracy, DBQ points, or LEQ points would have the biggest effect. For AP Statistics and AP Government, the tools split the estimate between multiple-choice and free-response performance because those sections each account for about half of the exam score.

Important Score Estimate Disclaimer

These AP score calculators are planning tools, not official score reports. The College Board does not publish one fixed raw-score conversion that applies to every exam form, and actual score boundaries can change. Use the estimates to guide practice and study planning, then treat your official AP score report as the final result.
